An exhibition proposed by Xavier Girard.
In 2020, an archive of 1,000 handmade illustrated booklets appeared on the Orleans flea market. Dated from 1946 to 1960, the collection is probably the work of a boy named Norbert Moutier (1941-2020) who would become a bookseller, publisher and "z series" filmmaker. Perfectly unknown, delivered without testimony, these unique "editions" offer a new point of view, that of a reader, on the French history of the children's periodical press of the immediate post-war period. They also make the link between a private history and a historical context marked by the 1949 law on publications for young people. For several months, Xavier Girard has been investigating, sharing the story of his discovery and his hypotheses: among them, the omnipresence of a mother, Simonne Moutier, invisible but indispensable to the realization of the project.

Kardesler Groente & Fruit 3 is the second iteration and newest branch of a shop published by Werkplaats Typografie. The store is established based on the repeated compression, transfer, and decompression of Kardesler Groente & Fruit, a fruit & vegetable shop located in west Amsterdam. As a common place of interaction, a place of trading goods, a place of trading stories, of precious encounters and small gestures; a ubiquitous site, so central to our daily routine, this shop blends in seamlessly within the neighborhood. By researching and embodying the context of this physical market as a stage, Kardesler Groente & Fruit 3 presents a hyperreality of embedded storytelling, with a focus on the commonly overlooked quotidian qualities of the omnipresent fruit & vegetable shop. Join Werkplaats Typografie during the fair to share stories over some freshly cut fruit.

Born in 1982, Thomas Perrodin is a graduate of the Beaux-Arts d'Angoulême.
Artist, illustrator and graphic designer, he is ultra active within the Geneva alternative cultural scene, especially in the field of music, for which he has produced a plethora of posters, programs, flyers and covers. As a member of Hécatombe Editions, his personal practice focuses on the realization of collaborative or personal editions. This exhibition focuses on silkscreened concert posters. Spontaneously produced within a predefined format and without a computer, printed at 30 copies, they show an empirical and experimental approach to the printing technique. The technical restrictions inherent to the medium are perceived here as creative drawers.

To celebrate the release of the book Design sous artifice: la création au risque du machine learning, in its Manifestes collection, HEAD Publishing is offering a signing session with the author Anthony Masure. In this essay, the professor at HEAD - Geneva questions the spectrum of implications of artificial intelligence in design practices, as its progress allows for the generation of images from textual instructions.
Launched in 2020, Ventoline is a musical, polyphonic and self-published fanzine that gives a voice to women from different backgrounds, musicians, DJs, concert organisers, label managers or simple music lovers. Also wanting to highlight the indefectible link between music and image, graphics and drawing have a predominant place in its pages. Four issues have been published to date and the fifth is in preparation - an opportunity to share in detail the conception of a project in perpetual evolution.
